Among other things, I’m a writer and publisher of high-quality, in-depth journalism. I write mainly for The Daily Beast and Smithsonian Magazine. But my work has also appeared in Vice Magazine, The Atlantic’s Longreads, Narrative.ly, Delayed Gratification, Sabotage Times, Arc Magazine and Digital Journal. In 2014, I co-founded Compass Cultura. I like old motorcycles, growing unkempt facial hair and drinking things with a percentage.
Some of my journalism:
The Cathedral: Escobar's Brick and Mortar Legacy
The Cannibal Club: Racism and Rabble-Rousing in Victorian England
Exploring the Darker Side of James Joyce's Trieste
Argentina's Drag & Drop Democracy
Op-Ed: On the Pope's immunity from hate speech backlash
Frank Gehry’s Biomuseo in Panama, Finally Open for Business
The Bar on the Border
Investigating Paris' Craft Beer Revolution
